Ingredients 3 cups sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp ground allspice 2/3 cup water 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree 2 tsp ground ginger 4 eggs 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp ground cloves 2 tsp baking soda 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ tsp salt ½ tsp baking powder
Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat until smooth. Add water and beat until well blended. Stir in pumpkin, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and clove.
In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and blend just until all ingredients are mixed. Divide batter between prepared pans.
Bake in a pre-heated oven until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, for about one hour.
